Sill-TerHar Jaguar-Aston Martin-Volvo-Mercury - A Dealership Model For The Future?
BROOMFIELD, Colo., Nov. 15 -- Jaguar North America and Aston Martin North America today celebrated the grand opening of Sill-TerHar Jaguar- Aston Martin-Lincoln-Mercury-Volvo, the newest retail facility for both luxury automakers. The store is located at 125 Alter St., Broomfield, CO, 80020.
With the opening of this facility, Jaguar North America's retailer-count increases to 147 outlets nationwide and Aston Martin North America's increases to 21.
``Selling cars is easy if you remember to treat each and every customer as you'd want to be treated yourself,'' said Jack TerHar, owner of the facility. ``I've been in this business for quite a few years, and I'm proud to say that many of my customers are repeat buyers. I've surrounded myself with the finest in automobiles and the finest in sales consultants -- a perfect mix for success in the showroom for the facility, our sales consultants, and most importantly, for our customers.''
Sill-TerHar Jaguar-Aston Martin-Lincoln-Mercury-Volvo is the first facility in the country to house the majority of Ford Motor Company's Premier Automotive Group brands under a common roof (only Land Rover is not represented). From a customer's point of view, each brand will appear to be a stand-alone facility with individual entrances and sales showrooms, while ``backroom'' services such as parts and service will be shared amongst all five brands.
The operation is housed in an all-new building in the Denver suburb of Broomfield. Daily operations are directed by Jack TerHar himself, working directly with Sales Manager Penny TerHar.
In addition to this brand-new facility, Sill-TerHar has operated a Ford franchise since 1960, and has been the recipient of a number of sales and customer satisfaction awards from the company, including receiving the Ford President's Award seven times. Also operated under the Sill-TerHar name is a Mazda facility, located nearby.
The full lineup of each marquee's cars will be available at the facility. For Jaguar, the lineup is comprised of 2.5- and 3.0-liter X-Type sedans, 3.0- and 4.0-liter S-TYPE sedans, XJ8, XJ8 Vanden Plas, XJR and Super V8 sedans as well as the XK8 and XKR coupe and convertible luxury sports cars. For Aston Martin, the lineup is comprised of the DB7 Vantage Coupe and Volante and the V12 Vanquish supercar.
