S&;P Rates CBTC Ford Motor Deb-Bckd Ser 2001-36 Crt 'BBB+'

    NEW YORK--Standard & Poor's--Nov. 15, 2001-- Standard & Poor's today assigned its triple-'B'-plus rating to Corporate Backed Trust Certificates Ford Motor Co. Debenture-Backed Series 2001-36 Trust's $33 million class A-1 7.55% Ford Motor Co. debenture-backed certificates series 2001-36.
    The rating reflects the credit quality of the underlying securities, $33 million 7.70% debentures due May 15, 2097, issued by Ford Motor Co. and addresses the likelihood of the trust making payments as required under the trust agreement. The rating does not address the likelihood that Ford Motor Co. will continue to file periodic reports as required under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
