Motion Industries' Director of Training Named Fluid Power Educational Foundation Trustee

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--Nov. 14, 2001--Danny Waters, director of training at Motion Industries, Inc.'s Motion Institute of Industrial Education, has been named a trustee to the Fluid Power Educational Foundation (FPEF) Board of Trustees.
    "At Motion Industries, we recognize the importance of fluid power education and certification," said Motion Industries' senior vice president of marketing Ralph Buntyn. "Danny's appointment to the FPEP Board of Trustees confirms the roles played by the Motion Institute and Motion Industries in the fluid power industry."
    Waters will serve on the Fluid Power Educational Foundation Board for a three-year term, which ends on June 30, 2004. As a trustee, he will assist the organization's educational activities by providing input and guidance.
    The Fluid Power Educational Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation that, with the support of the fluid power industry, coordinates, supports and promotes education in fluid power. It offers scholarships through a network of key schools across the country and also supports student competitions. The foundation strives to raise the level of competence of young people entering the industry and improve visibility for fluid power technology.
