Oakhurst Company, Inc. Announces Change of Name and Trading Symbol

    WILMINGTON, Del.--Nov. 13, 2001--Oakhurst Company, Inc. announced today that it has changed its name to "Sterling Construction Company, Inc." effective November 13, 2001.
    Formerly traded on the OTC Bulletin Board under the stock symbol "OAKC", effective today, the Company will trade under its symbol, "STCS". The Company's shareholders approved the name change at their Annual Meeting held on October 16, 2001.
    The change of name resulted from the increased equity ownership in Sterling Construction Company, a heavy civil construction company based in Houston, Texas which specializes in municipal and state highway contracts for paving, bridge, water and sewer and light rail. Sterling Construction Company simultaneously changed its name to Sterling Houston Holdings, Inc.
