Kelley Blue Book Awards PR Account to PFISpindler

    IRVINE, Calif.--Nov. 13, 2001--Kelley Blue Book (www.kbb.com) today announced it has awarded its public relations account to PFISpindler.
    In announcing the appointment, Stephen Henson, vice president of Marketing and Business Development, said PFISpindler would be responsible "for enhancing the awareness of Kelley Blue Book as the most trusted automotive resource for consumers and the industry."
    Currently celebrating its 75th anniversary, Kelley Blue Book operates the nation's No. 1 automotive Web site, kbb.com, according to research by J.D. Power and Associates.
    The Kelley Blue Book site provides timely, accurate auto pricing information for both new and used cars, car reviews and previews and direct links to the Web sites of more than 12,000 automobile dealers.
    kbb.com also links visitors to online buying and classified services and car insurance and finance companies. Approximately 28 million pricing reports were generated by more than 4 million unique visitors to kbb.com in October.
    Paul Spindler, chairman, and Bob Chew, president, of PFISpindler (www.pfispindler.com), personally will direct the Kelley Blue Book account.
