GM To Introduce 10 New Vehicle Models In Middle East

DUBAI: General Motors will present ten new vehicle models in the Middle East during model year 2002, breaking all previous company records for new entries to this market. Customers will be able to see them for the first time during the upcoming 6th Middle East International Motorshow.

"GM has been in the Middle East for more than 50 years and, to the best of our knowledge, this is highest total of debut vehicles in any single year," said Paul Johnson, GM's regional managing director.

In addition to new model introductions, many current entries have been enhanced for the 2002 model year. GM's powerful brand portfolio for the Middle East region includes Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Opel and Saab nameplates. Vehicles cover a broad range automotive segments, from sports cars to luxury saloons and muscular off-road vehicles.
