SONOMA, Calif. (IMMEDIATE RELEASE) - Sears Point Raceway will combine a sparkling new facility with four brand new season ticket packages that will give race fans the best seats in the house for the 2002 Big O Tires racing season.
These one-time only season ticket packages are being offered for the first time in 2002 and will give fans priority seating in the new permanent grandstand at start/finish, which offers views unparalleled in motorsports and features flip-down seats, cup holders and other amenities. These season ticket packages went on sale Friday, Nov. 9, and will be offered for a limited time.
It will be the most highly anticipated season in the 34-year history of Sears Point Raceway as the facility takes the wraps off its $50 million Modernization Plan. Plus, if you're one of the first to sign up for the Winner's Circle Package, you'll be eligible to receive two roundtrip airline tickets to one of three destination hot spots: Hawaii, London or Orlando.

The Winner's Circle Package ($495, savings of $110) is the most comprehensive season ticket, offering fans a reserved seat in the new grandstand for every event on the 2002 calendar, plus a Sears Point Raceway polo shirt. It's also the only package that makes you eligible to receive two roundtrip airline tickets. Other season-ticket options are tailored to the road-race maniac or drag-racing fan in your family. Moreover, all seats in the four different season ticket packages will be located in the spacious new grandstand.
While the Winner's Circle Package is the most elite and complete with tickets to every one of Sears Point Raceway's major events there are three other packages to choose from:
Grand Prix Package: This season-ticket package is for the road-race fanatic and offers second priority seating behind the Winner's Circle Package in the new grandstand at start/finish. It includes reserved tickets to all road-race events at Sears Point Raceway during the 2002 season, plus a free limited edition Sears Point Raceway Coleman cooler. The cost is $295 (savings of $65 on race tickets).
Supercharger Package: This package specializes in the high-speed excitement and sheer power of drag racing. It includes reserved season tickets in the new start-finish grandstand to the four premier drag-racing events on the calendar for 2002, plus a free limited edition Coleman NASCAR aluminum rocker chair. Cost is $195 (savings of $52 on race tickets).
Maximum Horsepower Ticket: This final package also guarantees you reserved seats in the new permanent grandstand for the highlight events on the 2002 schedule: Dodge/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Winston Cup and the NHRA FRAM Autolite Nationals. The cost is $250 (savings of $57 on race tickets).
