Kenworth Offers 600-Horsepower Engines for T2000 On-Highway Model
KIRKLAND, Wash., Nov. 8, 2001 - Kenworth Truck Company now offers the Cummins Signature 600, Cummins ISX and Caterpillar C-16 600-horsepower engines as options for its T2000 on-highway model. "We know that some drivers want and need the power that comes with a 600-horsepower engine," said Kurt Freitag, Kenworth product marketing manager. "But, they're also interested in running a lighter, more aerodynamic model like the T2000 since fuel can be their number one operating cost. We've made the Cummins Signature 600, Cummins ISX and Caterpillar C-16 600-horsepower engines available in the T2000 for those interested customers." Kenworth Truck Company, a division of PACCAR Inc, is a leading manufacturer of heavy and medium duty trucks. Kenworth's Internet home page is at www.kenworth.com.
