SEMA Honors Ambassador of the Year 2001
LAS VEGAS (Oct. 30, 2001) - SEMA member Dick Dixon of Access RPM Yellow Pages received the
association's "Ambassador of the Year" award at this year’s 2001 SEMA Show for recruiting 45 new SEMA
members during the past year.
"We congratulate Dick Dixon on this outstanding achievement and thank him for using his charm and
personality to help recruit new members," said SEMA President Charles R. Blum. "Congratulations also go to
all SEMA ambassadors who recruited 314 new members during our 2001 Member-Get-A-Member Campaign.
Their assistance will help our organization continue to thrive."
Second-place Ambassador of the Year honors went to Rick Kovalick of Keystone Automotive Operations Inc.
who signed on 19 new members. Honorable mentions were awarded to Karl M. Stearns of Auto Trim Design
of the Poconos with 14 new members; Steve Milizia of Add-On Distributing Inc. with 13 new members; and
Don Crassweller of Crassweller Media with 11 new members.
SEMA held its annual trade show in the Las Vegas Convention Center from Tuesday, Oct. 30 to Friday, Nov.
2. The show, which is held concurrently with AAPEX organized by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry
Association (AAIA) and the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), drew approximately
70,000 attendees from 124 countries.
SEMA, the Specialty Equipment Market Association, represents the $24.86 billion specialty automotive
