Wired-Angel.com's Entrepreneurial Speaker Series Comes to Westin Galleria

HOUSTON--Nov. 5, 2001--Wired-Angel.com Inc. brings its national Entrepreneurial Speaker Series to Dallas on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. This invitation-only event will bring together all interested parties -- angels, institutional investors, venture capitalists, finance professionals and broker-dealers -- to hear the business presentations of promising, high growth companies that need support from potential strategic partners or advisors.
"This forum will bring together high-growth, private companies and successful business professionals that are looking for exciting, local opportunities," said Bryan Emerson, chairman of Wired-Angel. Emerson will open the program and introduce the presenters, which will follow a short networking time.
The following four companies will be presenting at the Dallas event: Downstream Environmental, an innovative technology company that builds and operates non-hazardous liquid waste disposal plants. Downstream is poised to be the country's leading provider of disposal facilities for grease trap waste from food preparation facilities, grit from car washes and septage.
Another company, JoeAuto, is a large-scale response to the highly inefficient $110+ billion retail auto service and repair market, much like Home Depot is to the retail home repair market.
For over 20 years, Audex and its parent company, Audiometrics Inc. have built a strong reputation for serving both hearing impaired and those who work in noisy environments. Fortune 500 companies who have or are currently installing Audex assistive listening systems include American Airlines, Universal Studios, Disney, and Carnival Cruise lines.
Retractable Technologies Inc. designs, develops, manufactures and markets safety needle devices for the healthcare industry. The Company's VanishPoint products utilize a friction ring mechanism. VanishPoint products are designed specifically to prevent needlestick injuries and to prevent reuse.
