HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 30 -- Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS) Secretary-designate Kelly Powell Logan today announced that the state will auction 200 used state vehicles at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in the Commonwealth Garage, 2221 Forster St., Harrisburg. A variety of vehicles will be on the auction block, including Ford Crown Victorias and Chevrolet Cavaliers and Corsicas. Prospective bidders may inspect the vehicles at the Commonwealth Garage or at various locations across the state, today through Monday, Nov. 5. Bidders must register and receive a number on Thursday, Nov. 8. Buyers must pay with cash, postal money order, certified check or cashier's check. Personal, municipal or company checks will not be accepted.
