ARCA RE/MAX Takes Place In Kentucky December 8

TOLEDO OH - The 2001 ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship Awards Banquet, the
49th annual, will be held on Saturday December 8 at the Northern
Kentucky Convention Center (NKCC) in Covington, Kentucky just south of
Cincinnati, Ohio.

“This should be the finest production we’ve seen yet,” said ARCA PR
director Don Radebaugh. “With the support and participation of RE/MAX
International, it’s our intention to take the function to the next level
in terms of style, appearance, substance and delivery.”

This year’s event, open to the general public as well, will honor the
top-20 in driver and owner points including champion driver Frank Kimmel
along with champion car owner Larry Clement. The championship marks
their third series title together since Kimmel and Clement hooked up in
1997.

Renowned television broadcaster Rick Benjamin will host the banquet
while two-time NASCAR Winston Cup champion Ned Jarrett is slated to
appear as special guest. Tuxedos for male attendees are highly
recommended as the event continues to move toward a black tie-required
function.

In addition to the evening ceremonies, a marketing seminar and press
conference will precede the banquet earlier that afternoon.
Rooms have been reserved for banquet guests at the Marriott Cincinnati
River Center, which is accessible by skywalk from the NKCC. These rooms
can be secured by calling EDR Travel at (800) 445-7697 or (303)
796-3696. Availability is limited. For further details on directions,
