GRAND AM: Law to Pull Triple Duty at Finale

PHOENIX, Arizona (October 30, 2001) – Grand American Road Racing Series
driver, Darren Law, is getting as much seat time as possible at the Grand-Am
Finale at Daytona International Speedway.
Law’s main priority of the weekend will be navigating the #81 G&W
Motorsports/Motorola/Commscope Porsche GT3-R in the Rolex Series GT class.
Law only has to complete one lap under green to clinch the GT class driver
championship. This win would mean G&W’s second-consecutive GT class driver
and team championship.
Law will be serving double duty in the Grand-Am Cup race on Friday evening.
He will be aboard the #01 G&W Motorsports Porsche 993 in the GS class with
two of his G&W teammates. When he’s not in the #01 car, he will be in the
Team Lexus IS300 ST class.
The experience will be unique for Law, because not only he will be competing
in two cars in the same race, but he will be teaming up with fellow Rolex GT
Class rival, Terry Borcheller and team owner, Chuck Goldsborough in the Lexus.
The 4-Hour Grand-Am Cup race will be held Friday November 2, beginning at
6:00 p.m. and the Rolex Series Finale will be Saturday November 3, beginning
at 6:00 p.m.
