Woodside and Team Walker Motorsports Looking for Winston West Top Five

October 29, 2001 (Valencia, Calif.) - With just eight points separating Sean
Woodside and Team Walker Motorsports from a top-five season-ending points
position, the upcoming Food 4 Less 250 at Irwindale (Calif.) Speedway
represents an opportunity to add to the team's list of accomplishments
achieved during it's first full season in the NASCAR Winston West Series.

Woodside is currently in sixth place in the point standings, just eight
points behind fellow competitor Eric Norris' fifth place and 29 points
behind Steve Portenga's fourth place.

The young team, owned and managed by Donna Walker and her son Michael, has
already accumulated four Bud Pole Awards, five top-five finishes and eight
top-ten finishes this season's Winston West competition.

Woodside and the team are confidant that their experience at Irwindale this
season gives them a good chance at achieving their goal. In addition to his
Winston West driving duties, Woodside recently clinched the 2001 Super Late
Model division championship in Irwindale's NASCAR Weekly Racing Series
program with one points event still on the calendar and after missing one
event earlier in the season.

"Winning the Irwindale championship just may help us in the Winston West
race," Woodside commented. "We must have learned something with all that
seat time. Hopefully, it will give us what we need to reclaim our top five
spot in the points."

"It has been great to be a part of this team this year," Woodside continued
concerning his involvement with Team Walker Motorsports. "We have had some
good success and have pulled together a team that has made a strong presence
within the series in its first full season."

Donna Walker agrees, "This year has been one of constant learning and
growth. We came into this as a relatively green team. We can confidently say
that we made our presence known this year. I am very proud of our results
this year, and of the entire organization."

Team Walker Motorsports is a multi-team racing operation owned by Donna
Walker and her son, Michael. The team fields the #45 Team Walker/Ron's Rear
Ends/NAPA Filters/Mechanix Wear Chevrolet in the NASCAR Winston West Series,
featuring 1999 champion driver Sean Woodside. Valencia, Calif.-based Team
Walker Motorsports debuted in 1999 with a limited Late Model schedule.
