eTechnician to Streamline Delivery of PowerSpec Information to Cummins Engines
MANCHESTER, N.H.--Oct. 28, 2001--NEXIQ Technologies (OTCBB: NEXQ) today announced that eTechnician(TM) will streamline the delivery of PowerSpec feature and parameter settings to Cummins, Inc. engines. Cummins PowerSpec platform is a Web-based service used by truck dealers, distributors and owners to create a custom program that establishes the features and parameters for Cummins engines, based on their vehicle application and fleet specified objectives.By including eTechnician as a value-added service to PowerSpec, Cummins will enable wireless distribution of programming files directly to trucks. "The Cummins PowerSpec application of eTechnician will extend the capability of the service to increase operating efficiencies for fleet managers," stated John R. "At the heart of PowerSpec is the ability for fleet managers to custom spec engine performance," stated David Clark, Cummins marketing manager.
