ADVISORY/General Motors Vice President to Hold Media Interviews

                Dennis R. Minano, vice president of environment and
                energy and chief environmental officer of General
                Motors, will be in the Southland on Nov. 4 and 5 for
                media interviews on how GM applies advanced technology
                to create a sustainable environment through its
                plants, products and partnerships.

                Minano will kick off his visit by attending a GM/Air
                Quality Management District (AQMD) news conference in
                San Fernando, Calif., on Sunday, Nov. 4. He will also
                be on hand to deliver a keynote address at the AQMD's
                International Clean Air Technologies Conference at the
                Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim at noon on Monday, Nov. 5.
