Suzuki Expands 0% Finance To 2002 Models-What A Deal

BREA, Calif.--Oct. 26, 2001--American Suzuki Motor Corp. (ASMC), and American Suzuki Automotive Credit announced an expansion of their retail finance program to include its 2002 XL-7, Grand Vitara, Vitara and Esteem models.

The program includes zero percent financing for 12 to 36 months, 1.9 percent financing for 37 to 48 months and 3.9 percent financing for 49 to 60 months until Jan. 2, 2002.

American Suzuki was already offering the best deal in the auto industry with its zero percent financing on all 2001 models, up to a 60-month term.

With this newest offer, a Suzuki buyer can save thousands of dollars on any vehicle in its 2002 line: the top-of-the-line XL-7 Limited Edition, the first affordable SUV with seating for seven passengers; the 2002 V6-powered Grand Vitara, with optional four-wheel drive; a fuel-efficient 2002 Esteem Sedan and Wagon; and the 2002 Suzuki Vitara Two- and Four-Door SUV.

``The 2001 APR program has been a huge success with our dealers, and the addition of the 2002 APR program until the end of this year promises to keep building the sales momentum,'' said American Suzuki president, Rick Suzuki. ``These finance programs have placed us in a very competitive position.''

The Automotive Division of American Suzuki Motor Corp., in Brea, was founded in 1985 by Suzuki Motor Corp. ASMC markets automobiles in the United States through a network of more than 420 automotive dealerships in 49 states.
