Payless Car Rental Awards Travel Agent Keys to Ford Mustang

    ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--Oct. 25, 2001--To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Payless Car Rental System, Inc., the company awarded a 2001 Ford Mustang to travel agent Sharon Hazeltine, winner of their recent "Win A Mustang" contest open to travel agents. Each qualifying Payless Car Rental reservation booked during the contest by a travel agent served as an entry to the sweepstakes.
    Hazeltine of Business and Leisure Travel in Concord, New Hampshire was recently awarded the keys to her new car. "I posted a picture of a blue Mustang at my computer so each time I placed a reservation I would be reminded of the contest," said Hazeltine. "I've participated in the previous Payless sweepstakes and was thrilled when I became a winner."
    Part of Payless Car Rentals' aggressive growth plan is aimed at partnering more closely with travel agents. Payless plans to double the number of locations by 2003.
