Olympic Gold Medallist
FUEL UP FOR BREAKFAST AND SUPPORT THE U.S. OLYMPIC TEAM
Kellogg’s and Albertson’s Team Up with Picabo Street to Feed the FundÔ and Raise
$1 Million

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2001
10:00AM TO 1:00PM EASTERN

“Breakfast always gets me going, and now when people buy Kellogg’s cereals
participating in the Feed the Fund program, it can help the U.S. Olympic Team
get going -- for the Gold.”
PICABO STREET

WHAT:	By fueling up at breakfast with Kellogg’s® cereals, and shopping at
participating Albertson’s, Acme, Jewel or Seessel’s stores, families can get
into the Olympic spirit and support Picabo Street, the 1998 Olympic Gold
Medallist in the Super G, and the rest of the 2002 U.S. Olympic Team, as they Go
for the GoldTM during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Olympic Gold Medallist
Picabo Street is helping to kick off the program from her home city of Park
City, Utah.

HOW:	From Nov. 5 through Dec. 30, for every two Kellogg’s® cereals (10-ounces
or larger) purchased at an Albertson’s, Acme, Jewel or Seessel’s grocery store,
25 cents will be donated to the U.S. Olympic team, up to $1 million. Based on
last year’s sales of Kellogg cereals in those stores, that requires only a 4
percent increase in purchases to reach the goal. The funds collected through the
Kellogg’s/Albertson’s promotion will benefit the Feed the FundÔ U.S. Olympic
Team fundraising program.

WHO:	Street joined the U.S. Ski Team in 1989 when she was 17. Seven years
later, she became the only American skier to ever win a World Cup downhill
championship crown. She repeated the feat in 1996. Picabo is named after the
Idaho town of — what else — Picabo. As an infant, she loved to play peek-a-boo.
In Native American language, Picabo means "Shining Waters."

Kellogg USA is an Official Supplier to the 2002 Olympic Winter Games and
Paralympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City and the 2002 and 2004 U.S. Olympic
Teams. Kellogg’s® ready-to-eat cereals will be included on the training tables
for athletes at all three U.S. Olympic Training Centers, through 2004, as well
as in the Olympic Village during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.
