	MOORESVILLE, NC – Pickup truck owners can now bring the up-to-the-minute look of carbon fiber to their 	truck beds with a new cover from Downey Products.  The company is offering a new carbon fiber-look fabric 	as an upgrade to its Downey SST and LTD tonneaus.

To replicate the look of carbon fiber, the manufacturer scanned an actual piece of it into a computer.  That image was then transferred to an embossing wheel.  The result is an image that duplicates all of the reflective and woven qualities of carbon fiber.  Plus, this vinyl can stand up to the toughest elements without leaking or unraveling.

Downey tonneaus with the new fabric have all of the features that have made the original Downey SST soft tonneau an industry leader, including cover snaps and locking channels that are made using the latest in computer design and composite technology.  The patented inverted cover snaps attach anywhere along the length of the poly-carbonate channel, with no alignment necessary. 
	
	The cover opens anywhere for easy cargo access, including the front of the bed, and the entire cover can be 	quickly removed to carry large items in the bed, something that can't be done with a hard-top tonneau.
	A satin black, aircraft-quality anodized aluminum frame blends with the truck body for superior looks even with 	the cover off, and the frame rails are padded to prevent damage to the truck.
