WOODSIDE AND TEAM WALKER MOTORSPORTS
COLLECT TOP TEN AT LVMS

October 16, 2001 (Valencia, Calif.) - Following a disappointing crash in
Saturday's Featherlite Southwest Series, NASCAR Touring event at Las Vegas
Motor Speedway, Sean Woodside and Team Walker Motorsports went on to notch a
solid seventh-place finish in the NASCAR Winston West 24 Hour Fitness 150.

The team collected a total of $4,600 in winnings, which it will, as
previously announced, donate to the American Red Cross to assist the
families of the victims of the recent terrorist attacks in New York and
Washington DC.

Woodside finished 35th in the Southwest Series event after he was collected
in a nasty crash just a few laps into the race. Woodside drove low on the
track to avoid spinning cars and debris, but struck the #58 and #93 cars as
they shot down after hitting the wall in turn two. Woodside careened into
the wall, taking a hard hit.

Woodside was uninjured by the crash. The racecar didn't fare as well.

"That was a big disappointment for the team after the hard work that went
into that car," Woodside commented. "All we could do at that point was to
turn our focus to doing as well as we could in the Winston West event."

The Winston West event that directly followed the Southwest Series race
presented a more positive picture. Woodside maintained a top-ten position
for most of the race, although he lost some track position during a green
flag pit stop. At lap 66, with just eight cars on the lead lap, Woodside
found himself a lap down. Consistency and some minor adjustments to the car
propelled him back onto the lead lap, and he finished the race in seventh
place.

The 24 Hour Fitness 150 will air on Fox Sports Net tape delayed, date and
time to be announced.
