Coast Distribution Expands Hoosier Facility

MORGAN HILL, Calif., Oct. 17 -- The Coast Distribution System, Inc. (Amex: CRV) announced today that it has begun construction on the 20,000 square foot expansion of its main hub warehouse in Elkhart, Indiana. Chairman Thomas McGuire stated, "This expansion, coupled with the addition of new racking systems, will allow our company to optimize the efficiencies and customer service requirements that our new supply chain strategies should afford us going forward." The company also announced that it has sold its warehouse in Portland, Oregon and will relocate to a nearby facility in January 2002.
