ValuSoft Climbs Behind the Wheel With the Release of Monster Truck Rumble; Players Smash Through Lines of Wrecked Cars, Fences and Farms

MINNEAPOLIS--Oct. 15, 2001--Gamers can now crank it up, drop it into low and take control of their own monster rig in Monster Truck Rumble(TM), the latest release from ValuSoft, a leading global publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment and productivity software.
Monster Truck Rumble challenges players on six different maps, including Wyoming, the Mojave Desert, the Grand Canyon and Colorado. The no-holds-barred action pits players against computer and live opponents in four competition styles--Free Run, Lane Races, Circuit Race and Wreck `n Crush. Gamers must use their expert driving skills to reach required checkpoints and outmaneuver rock outcroppings, sheer cliffs, farm buildings and livestock.
"Players can push their monster trucks to the limit just like the pros, with rollovers, wheelies and donuts," states Scott Zerby, President of ValuSoft. "We've captured the excitement of real monster truck action which brings thousands of applauding fans to their feet with every trick and massive car crush."
Featuring six original vehicles, including American Hero, Sergeant Steele and Firepower, Monster Truck Rumble gives gamers the chance to pick their favorite big, bad monster rigs and take them up, over or through whatever gets in their path.
Monster Truck Rumble will be available at $19.99 at most major retailers and mass merchant accounts the third week of October.
