REMINDER/California Fuel Cell Partnership Releases Fuel Scenarios Study at Roundtable

    The California Fuel Cell Partnership is releasing a market study commissioned to examine commercialization options and fuel scenarios for fuel cell vehicles. The principal goal of "Bringing Fuel Cell Vehicles to Market: Scenarios and Challenges with Fuel Alternatives" is to identify challenges and potential solutions to the commercialization of light-duty fuel cell vehicles utilizing four different fuel options: hydrogen, ethanol, methanol and gasoline.



When:       Tuesday, October 16, 2001 (all times PDT)

            9:30a-11:00a - Public Roundtable
            11:00a-Noon - Media Availability and vehicle display

Other Info: The study will be released on October 16, available
            electronically via the CaFCP website
            (www.fuelcellpartnership.org) or in hard copy and CD at
            the event. Members of the audience plus attendees from
            around the world viewing via webcast, will have an
            opportunity to ask questions during the 90-minute event.
            Reporters can view fuel cell vehicles and speak with
            manufacturers about their cars in the parking lot before
            the roundtable. After the roundtable, reporters can meet
            with study authors and CaFCP members for one-on-one
            interviews.
