General Motors Corp. said Friday there will be a temporary shutter of six assembly plants this week to adjust inventory. . The plants affected: .Lansing ( Chevrolet Cavalier and Pontiac Sunfire) Orion Township( Oldsmobile Aurora, Buick Park Lane and LeSabre and Pontiac Bonneville) Fairfax Assembly Plant in Kansas City (Pontiac Grand Prix and Oldsmobile Intrigue) Janesville Assembly plants 2 and 3 (Medium duty trucks and Isuzu vehicles). Doraville, Ga (Chevrolet Venture, Pontiac Transport, and the Oldsmobile Silhouette) Oshawa ,Ont ( Buick Century and Regal and the Chevrolet Lumina.)
