Paradigm Joins HP's Mobile Program

    TORONTO, Ontario--Oct. 11, 2001--PowerLOC Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of Paradigm Advanced Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:PRAV), (www.powerloc.com) announced today that it has entered into a participation agreement with Hewlett-Packard Company that provides for PowerLOC to work with HP in the creation and delivery of mobile e-services including PowerLOC's tracking, location and navigation based solutions.
    HP's product platforms presently include the HP Jornada Pocket PC series for PowerLOC's Destinator(TM) navigation system and the L2000 or L3000 Server series for its Tracker(TM) Server solution.
