McKENNA PORSCHE FINISH OUT AMERICAN Le MANS SERIES SEASON

Flowery Branch, GA - October 6, 2001 - After a grueling 1000 mile
event on the Road Atlanta racetrack, the Alex Job Racing, McKenna
Porsche team wheeled one of their two McKenna-sponsored Porsches
to a third place finish. They finished behind two of the specialized
BMW GT3R V8 race cars, and ahead of one other.

Sascha Maassen and Lucas Luhr used consistency and reliable Porsche
engineering to record lap times in the # 23 911 GT3 RS that were as
fast in the finishing laps as they were at the start of the race,
over nine-hours earlier.

Team owner Alex Job said after the race: "Once again I am really
proud of our team - the drivers, the crew, everyone. We drove a
hard race again today, pushed our team and equipment as hard as
we could for the entire event, and didn't make any mistakes. The
unfortunate part is our competition has a car that is good enough
to make up for some of their mistakes."

The racing luck that followed the identically prepared #22 911
GT3 RS all season continued today. Between getting caught by bad
timing behind the pace car when they didn't pit and having the
rear air diffuser vibrate loose during the race, the teammates
of Randy Pobst and Christen Menzel finished the race in a very
respectable fifth position, just behind the remaining V8 BMW that
was still in the race.

Over the course of the ten race schedule (eight US, two European),
against the stiffest GT class competition in years, the Alex Job
Racing team assembled three wins, four seconds, and four thirds
between the two cars.

Now in its 13th year of competition, Alex Job Racing (AJR) is one
of the premier independent Porsche teams in the American Le Mans
Series (ALMS). Based in a brand new 16,000 sq. ft. facility in
Tavares, Florida, AJR entries have tallied three victories in
the 12 Hours of Sebring, one win in the 24 Hours of Daytona,
ten ALMS wins and captured the 1999 ALMS GT Driver and
Manufacturer Championships.
