SEMA Revs Up to Provide Auction for America

SEMA Revs Up to Provide Enjoythedrive.com Car for America in the eBay Auction
for America, to Raise $100 Million in 100 Days for Relief Programs

Diamond Bar, Calif. -- SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) has joined
eBay's Auction for America campaign to raise $100 million in 100 days to fund
relief programs for the survivors of the Sept. 11 attack on America.

"Our member company, American Products Company, provided SEMA with a unique and
wonderful opportunity to contribute to this overriding cause - providing support
and comfort to the survivors of the horrific Sept. 11 attack on our country. APC
made this possible through its most generous contribution of an American-
designed and built Chevrolet Cavalier, which we call the Enjoythedrive.com Car
for America," said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of marketing and
sales. "There is no sufficient way to thank Brian Horowitz and his team at APC
for this most generous gesture for our country, and our association."

MacGillivray said that APC reconfigured the show car's originally planned
graphics with the American flag graphic. The Enjoythedrive.com Car for America
will be posted for auction, without reserve (a mandatory minimum bid), for
general public bidding on Monday, Oct. 29. Bids will also be taken at the SEMA
Show*ITE in Las Vegas, Nev., from Tuesday, Oct. 30-Friday, Nov. 2, at the eBay
Motors booth 14605. The bidding will close Thursday, Nov. 8.

"eBay Motors will display the car in its booth at our SEMA Show and take bids
from show attendees. You can see its picture and bid on it online, of course,
too," MacGillivray said. "May the most generous bidder win - this is for the
most important cause our country has seen in more years than we can count.'

The car for auction to the general public, and attendees at the SEMA Show, is a
2000 Chevrolet Cavalier with a traffic-stopping salute-commanding dramatic red,
white and blue stars-and-stripes graphic exterior. To its factory-stock
equipment package, American Products Company (APC) has added AROSpeed coilover
units and an APC Intimidator Muffler.

The exterior has been modified with an APC carbon fiber hood, a WingsWest body
kit and rear spoiler, APC Super White Headlights, APC Euro Taillights, and APC
Road Vision L.E.D. turn signal mirrors. APC Universal Mesh has been applied to
both the front grille and the lower grille.

The interior has been redone in black and reddish vinyl and with APC Speed-Glo
Gauges and Glo-Pedals. The Enjoythedrive.com Car for America has new 19x8" ALT
wheels and Toyo 225/35/19 tires.

The retail value of the aftermarket enhancements is more than $15,000.
A picture of the Enjoythedrive.com Car for America and a description of its
equipment are available at www.enjoythedrive.com/America.

Proceeds from the Enjoythedrive.com Car for America Cavalier auction will go to
The September 11th Fund administered by the United Way and the New York
Community Trust.
