Natural Solutions Enjoys Early Success Winning Contracts Across the Nation
CHESAPEAKE, Va.--Oct. 5, 2001--Natural Solutions Corporation (OTC BB: ICEB) announced today that they have won several new and renewed liquid snow and ice control bids for this coming winter season.Craig Phelps, Vice President of Sales and Product Development of Natural Solutions Corporation, announced, "I am very pleased to announce that our newly engineered products, and expanding sales and distribution network is enjoying early success. The calendar may say that winter begins on December 21, but those of us in the deicing industry know that it starts in August when the early winter contracting processes begin. So far, we are coming out of many of those processes as the winner."
Mr. Phelps continued, "To date, we have renewed several contracts and those renewals included quantity increases from the previous year. We are also proud to say that Ice Ban(R) products have been awarded new contracts in several new states, counties, and cities. Further, we are heartened to see that many of the contracts for inhibited chlorides and treated salt have been increased again this year, showing the continued growth of the industry started by Ice Ban just over five years ago."
As of this writing, Natural Solutions and its distributors have been awarded or declared the low bidder in no less than 15 different major jurisdictions across the United States. Those victories include contracts in New York City, New York's OGS, and DOT's in Maryland, Virginia, Indiana, Montana, and Washington State. Several new and renewed counties in Maryland, Michigan, and Illinois along with our nation's capital have also signed up to use Ice Ban this winter. Snowplow contractors such as Blacktop Maintenance and Environmental Surface Treatments in Poughkeepsie, NY are also joining forces with Ice Ban. Winter maintenance professionals such as these are winning contracts to treat salt and anti-ice for prominent organizations such as the Smithsonian Institute. Grand Valley State University, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Michigan are among the educational institutions now using Ice Ban for winter maintenance.
Lowell Morse, President, added, "These are just the early dividends from our non-stop effort to get out the good word about Ice Ban and our leadership position in the environmentally friendly snow and ice control business. We continue to gain acceptance across the nation for our PNS-compliant "Ice Ban Ultra(TM)" and "Ice Ban Performance Plus(TM)". Of course our Ice Ban Original and Summit(TM) continue to work "magic" for a large portion of our customer base. Looking forward, we are working diligently to further refine the products and respond to customer needs as they arise. Customer service will always be the hallmark of our business."
