    PLANO, Texas--Oct. 5, 2001--Microtune(TM), Inc. , a leading provider of integrated radio frequency (RF) solutions for the broadband communications and consumer electronics markets, will announce financial results for third quarter 2001 on Monday, October 22, 2001, after the close of regular trading.
    Douglas J. Bartek, Chairman and CEO, and Everett (Buddy) Rogers, Chief Financial Officer, will hold a conference call and webcast at 4:00 p.m. CDT/5:00 p.m. EDT to discuss financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2001.
