ALEX JOB RACING, MCKENNA PORSCHE TO TAKE ON 1,000 MILES OF
ROAD ATLANTA, HOPE TO END SEASON ON HIGH NOTE

Flowery Branch, GA - October 4, 2001 - Looking to wrap up a
long and tumultuous season in a positive way, the Alex Job
Racing, McKenna Porsche team is ready to do what it does best:
win another long distance endurance race. With a win and a
runner up here in the last two years, the team is confident
that they can out-prepare and outlast the competition in this
Saturday's Petit Le Mans ten-hour, one thousand mile race.

Said team owner Alex Job: "This should be a good race for us.
We won here in 1999 and led quite a bit of the race last year,
before ultimately finishing second with Randy Pobst. This will
be a race of endurance not just sheer speed. When we won in 1999,
we did it with Sascha Maassen on board. As a matter of fact, it
was his first race with us."

"I had pole here at Road Atlanta last year, led much of the race,
and finished second," said driver Randy Pobst. "It is almost a
home track. Chassis setup and handling are very important here.
The corners are very fast and there is minimal run off room
relative to the speeds. The rhythm from turn one to five is a
joy if the car is okay. We will be relying on Porsche reliability
and a clean race. Christian and I plan on letting the race come
to us. He is a great driver and I have complete faith in him."

Looking back somewhat on the season, Pobst added: "Well, I feel
blessed this season to have the high honor of a Porsche contract,
and to drive with Alex Job racing. Porsche has pushed the 911 to
its absolute limit in pursuit of the V8 BMW's this season, and I
am very proud to say, so have we."

Driving an identically prepped Porsche 911 GT3 RS (#23) as
teammates Pobst and Menzel (#22), Sascha Maassen and Lucas Luhr
are separated by just one point, and are third and fourth,
respectively in the American Le Mans Series Drivers Championship
points standing. Maassen still has a fighting chance to win,
but needs a little help from the rival BMW team to pull it off.

Now in its 13th year of competition, Alex Job Racing (AJR) is
one of the premier independent Porsche teams in the American
Le Mans Series (ALMS). Based in a brand new 16,000 sq. ft.
facility in Tavares, Florida, AJR entries have tallied three
victories in the 12 Hours of Sebring, one win in the 24 Hours
of Daytona, ten ALMS wins and captured the 1999 ALMS GT Driver
and Manufacturer Championships.
