Reed Sarver Named Senior Vice President of Pall Corporation
EAST HILLS, N.Y.--Oct. 3, 2001--Eric Krasnoff, Chairman and CEO of Pall Corporation announced today the promotion of Reed Sarver to Senior Vice President of Pall Corporation.Mr. Sarver, 42, is responsible for global sales and marketing of Pall's Machinery and Equipment (M&E) Division. M&E sells advanced filtration products to the automotive, pulp and paper, primary metals, mining and mobile equipment markets. The M&E Division is part of Pall's General Industrial group.
Industrial sales were in excess of $650 million and accounted for more than half of Pall's sales in fiscal year 2001. In this segment, a wide range of sophisticated filtration and separations systems increase efficiency, product quality and production yields at companies that produce chemicals, oil, gas, electricity, automobiles, semiconductors, food, and numerous other products that require high levels of purity. Current potential within this business segment is over $9 billion. This is expected to double over the next five years from organic growth and new business initiatives such as gas/gas separations, automotive, municipal water, and beverage applications.
During his 13 years with Pall, Mr. Sarver has held several key positions, including various management roles in Pall's Industrial business.
Mr. Sarver holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
