Power Technology, Inc. Demonstrates First Prototypes Of Advanced Lead-Acid Battery
LAS VEGAS--Oct. 3, 2001--Power Technology, Inc. (OTCBB:PWTC) (the "Company") announced today that, through the efforts of Company Vice President Alvin Snapper and his team from BC Research, Inc. (BCRI), prototypes of the Company's patented lead-acid batteries have been built and are currently undergoing testing procedures.Two distinct types of batteries, "Motive," and "Telecom," are currently being produced. The initial 75 amp hours "Motive" power battery built at the BCRI facility is smaller and lighter than a similar 75 amp hour battery built by Douglas Battery:
