AUTO CENTRAL - The Auto Channel is pleased to announce that Bendix® has
become a title sponsor of its live ‘TV ON THE NET’ coverage of the 2001 Automotive
Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW 2001) exposition in Las Vegas.

This is the sixth straight year that The Auto Channel is providing exclusive
and complete coverage of the world’s largest automotive tradeshow. AAIW is
the combination of two industry tradeshows, AAPEX and SEMA-ITE, brought together
under one giant umbrella. The three principal organizing groups are AAIA,
Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association; MEMA, the Motor Equipment
Manufacturers Association; and SEMA, Specialty Equipment Market Association.
Thousands of exhibitors, and in excess of 80,000 buyers from more than 75
countries will participate in the weeklong event.

Bendix®, an operating unit of Honeywell, supplies air brake and control
systems and components for heavy-duty trucks, tractors, trailers, buses and other
commercial vehicles in North America. With its joint venture partners, it
also serves the global commercial vehicle industry. The company’s products include
antilock brake systems, air compressors, air brake valves, air dryers and
automatic slack adjusters, as well as remanufactured products and other
components for tractors and trailers.

The Auto Channel’s AAIW studio facility is centrally located on the
upper lobby mezzanine of the Sands Convention Center - the site of AAPEX. A
special “TAKE A BENDIX® BRAKE” seating section will allow exposition attendees
to take a break from their busy days be a part of the on-location studio
audience. The four-day live exhibit broadcasts begin Tuesday, October 30th,
and ends Friday, November 2nd. The Auto Channel’s interview shows will
emanate from the studio location and several locations around the Sands and Las Vegas
Convention Centers. Five 30-minute shows will be presented on each of the
four days. Show times will be 8:30am, 10:30am, 1:00pm, 2:30pm and 4:00pm. All
times are Pacific Time. The Auto Channel will also be presenting expanded
coverage of the event, which will include several industry meetings and
banquets.

A new feature in this year’s broadcasts will be the Bendix® “KEEPING
AHEAD OF THE CURVE” segments, which spotlight innovative “brake”-through
ideas, products and services.

The Auto Channel’s on-air hosting crew for the broadcasts again consists of an
all-star team of veteran TV/radio automotive experts, such as Tom Torbjornsen
(host of the Car Show), Professor Harold Wolchok (host of New York’s AutoLab
show), and Bob Long (host of Talk America’s AutoWorld and Car Crazy shows).
All shows will, of course, be available for broadband Internet viewing and be
