DTB Announces Educational Campaign and Launches New Web Site to Assist Companies in Managing Their Translation Needs

    BINGHAM FARMS, Mich.--Oct. 3, 2001--Detroit Translation Bureau (DTB) a leading provider of translation services to the automotive industry today announced an educational campaign to help companies learn how to better manage their translation needs.
    DTB recognizes the lack of awareness that translation receives and the misperceptions that exist and act as barriers to growth.     In addition DTB is working with the local educational community to improve translation programs at the state college level. "At this time, our state universities language programs are misaligned with the requirements of the translation industry. Not a single state program, that I am aware of, includes courses on translation technologies, interpretation and translation management" says Rick Woyde, President & CEO of DTB.
