Oshkosh Truck to Announce Fiscal 2001 Fourth-Quarter Earnings and Update Fiscal 2002 Expectations On November 1

    OSHKOSH, Wis.--Oct. 3, 2001--Oshkosh Truck Corporation , a leading manufacturer of specialty trucks and truck bodies, announced today that it will issue its fourth-quarter and year-end 2001 financial results on November 1, 2001. Robert G. Bohn, Oshkosh chairman, president and chief executive officer, and Charlie Szews, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will also update expectations for the company's fiscal 2002 performance.
    A live conference call for security analysts and institutional investors will be held at 11:00 a.m. eastern daylight time the same day.
