Premier1 Grand Prix launches new website
www.premier1grandprix.com
Zurich, 03 October 2001: Following the media conference in Britain last
Thursday (27 September 2001) announcing the partnership between Premier1
and Leeds United Football Club, Premier1 Grand Prix today launches its
Official Internet Website.
The website – www.premier1grandprix.com – offers on-line users a wealth of
information on the new Premier1 Grand Prix race series – an eagerly
anticipated new motor sport series for powerful Formula1-style racing cars
representing many of the world’s top football clubs.
The championship is scheduled to start immediately after next year’s FIFA
World Cup Finals and the Official Premier1 Website will feature regular
news, reports and features in the build-up to the opening race in July
2002.
The introduction of such an innovative and far-reaching race series also
offers many exciting and hitherto untapped opportunities for enterprising
business partnerships. Information on these commercial openings is also
available to interested parties on the Official Premier1 Website.
Two of Europe’s most famous football clubs – Benfica and Leeds United –
have already confirmed their participation in Premier1 Grand Prix and a
further 22 clubs will be announcing their involvement in the coming weeks
and months. Once again, all information will be available on the Official
Premier1 Website as the news breaks.
In total the series will feature 24 identically prepared 750bhp
single-seater racing cars, each liveried in the evocative colours of one
of the world's leading football clubs.
The cars, which will compete on many of the world’s premier race circuits,
will have comparable performance to Formula1 and will race on slick racing
tyres. New technologies to enhance the performance and guarantee
spectacular action will be introduced to all cars at the start of each
season.
High-resolution images and further details are now available on
www.premier1grandprix.com – the Official Premier1 Website that will be
watched closely by motor sport and football fans as well as the entire
motor sport industry.
