SAE SoCal: pdf of October 2001 Newsletter

The October newsletter is running late this month, hence we have a greater
need for people to relay this information to your professional colleagues.
The October section meeting is on Tuesday the 9th and reservations can be
made at http://www.sae-socal.org/html/SectionMeeting.html   With the
postponement of our September meeting, this is our delayed kick-off meeting
for the 2001/2002 section year.  Let's have a great turn-out!!
    
Our annual student workshop will be held on Saturday, October 20th.  This
event is open to all SAE student members as well as working members.  This
is a great event to attend if your company is looking to hire entry level
engineers with a passion for the automotive/aerospace industry.  Contact
Cole Standish for details.  We are also looking for Formula SAE & Mini Baja
alums who can assist with the design panels.  If you profited from SAE
student participation, we urge you to contribute back into the system by
