SWE -SupplyWebExchange- 2001 Postponed until Spring 2002

NEWTON, Mass.--Sept. 24, 2001--In consideration of the tragedy that unfolded in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania on Tuesday, September 11, the SWE 2001 Conference and Exposition, originally scheduled for November 7-9 at the Chicago Marriott, has been postponed.
In recognition of the impact these horrific events have had on exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and attendees and due to a heightened concern about business travel, SWE will be rescheduled for spring 2002.
"While we believe the best response to these terrorist attacks is to go back to business as usual and not allow this to undermine American business, we also know that it will take time for our nation to grieve and heal after these atrocities," said Thomas Friedman, President of MoonWatch Media, organizers of SWE. " We convey our deepest sympathy to all those affected by these tragic events. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but feel this postponement is the best decision under the circumstances."
New show dates will be announced within 30 days.
