SAE Brake Colloquium Still `Go' for October 28-31 in New Orleans
WARRENDALE, Pa., Sept. 24 The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) 19th Annual Brake Colloquium & Exhibition has confirmed that its meeting will take place as scheduled on October 28-31 at the New Orleans Marriott in New Orleans. While many U.S. and foreign corporations have travel restrictions in place currently, there has been no exhibitor drop-off or presenter cancellations for the event to date. The hotel reports that room space for the dates is close to sold-out. There are currently 90 exhibitors planning to display their products at the Colloquium. The principal guest lecturer for Monday, October 29, William H. Gillespie, III, has confirmed he will give his presentation on "Future Automotive Technology Impact on Foundation Brakes." Tuesday's luncheon keynote speaker, Mario Andretti, has also confirmed that he plans to attend the event. The Colloquium is the largest meeting in the world devoted to brake systems.
