VDO.com Inc. Announces Name & Symbol Change

REDLANDS, Calif.--Sept. 24, 2001--VDO.com Inc. (Pink Sheets:VDOO), today announced, following a board of directors meeting held on Sept. 19, 2001, a change in the company's name to Hundred Mile Plus Ltd., with the symbol change to HDMP, effective Sept. 19, 2001.
The name and symbol change made by HDMP's board of directors was for purposes of bringing the company's name in line with the company's core business; the design, development and marketing of an innovative gasoline saving technology called "Hundred Mile Plus (TM-81)."
The product, an alternative energy system, is targeted toward the automobile industry and auto parts manufacturers and distributors. The product will provide consumers with, heretofore, unimaginable 100-plus miles per gallon of gasoline with reduced hydrocarbon emissions, minimal, if any, engine retrofitting, and no requirements for vehicle redesign.

    The Company

Hundred Mile Plus Ltd. (HDMP) is a publicly traded company whose mission is to deliver to the marketplace a gasoline fuel-efficient technology that will exceed EPA emission standards; one that will solve the critical problems facing gasoline consumers throughout the world of escalating gasoline prices and the production and sale of high fuel consumption vehicles.
Since the days of the oil crisis in America, General Motors, Daimler Chrysler, Ford, other major auto manufacturers and private entrepreneurs have attempted to address the miles per gallon (mpg) of gasoline, as well as fuel consumption problems facing the consuming public with no significant or cost-efficient results. It is within this arena (marketplace) that Hundred Mile Plus Ltd. intends to launch its 100-plus miles per gallon TM-81 product.
