Cummins Powerstore Debuts New Look for E-Commerce Site

COLUMBUS, Ind.--Sept. 20, 2001--Cummins Inc. today unveiled a new look for PowerStore, the company's e-commerce web site. Launched in 2000, PowerStore is an online retail site dedicated to offering Cummins-branded apparel and merchandise, engine service and maintenance manuals, as well as electronics.
For the Dodge Turbo Diesel owner, the PowerStore electronics lineup now offers QuickCheck II and RoadRelay 4(TM), each sold with its own installation kit. QuickCheck II is a handheld software application that reads live engine data and downloads to a Palm device. RoadRelay 4 is an in-cab device that acts as a live window into your engine and records engine data ranging from real-time miles per gallon (MPG) to essential vehicle and engine fault information.
PowerStore also features an extensive line of Cummins gear, including hats, T-shirts, golf shirts, jackets, umbrellas, badging and a wide variety of novelty items. PowerStore offers more than 40 different apparel and merchandise items, all made with the quality and durability customers have come to expect from Cummins.
Customers can purchase service manuals and parts catalogs online. From Operation and Maintenance Manuals to customized parts catalogs, PowerStore offers an assortment of easy-to-read manuals presented in picture-driven formats.
PowerStore has been designed to appeal to all consumer levels, including end-users, dealers, distributors, and employees -- and is available to anyone with Internet access. The site offers first-class, personalized service for every customer, and is regularly updated with new products, as well as additional promotions and discounts.
