The Favorite Cars of Comparison Shoppers: August 2001

    PALO ALTO, Calif.--Sept. 19, 2001--InvoiceDealers, a pioneer in automotive Internet marketing, released the favorite cars, trucks, SUVs and minivans of online comparison shoppers in August 2001.

    August 2001 Results:

    The Honda Accord reclaimed its position as the Favorite Car and Overall Most Requested Vehicle for the first time since May. The Accord had placed second to the Honda Civic for two straight months.
    The Ford F-Series has been stuck at third place overall since last April. But, it has yet to give up its long held position as the Favorite Truck.
    The Ford Explorer returned to first place in Sport Utility Vehicles after one month at second. Last month's favorite, the Ford Escape, fell to fourth.
    The Honda Odyssey followed suit, placing first in Minivans again. It switched places with the Toyota Sienna, after a one-month stint at second.
