Sealant Solutions, Inc. Appoints Four Directors to the Board
MIDDLEBORO, Mass.--Sept. 17, 2001--Sealant Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB:SSLU) appointed Cary Parrish, Harry W. Brooks, Ramiz Chamlati, and Edward W. Fasci, Jr. to the Board of Directors."With the addition of indigenous directors who have pledged to actively participate in growing the Company, Sealant Solutions will become a premier Company in the United States and Latin American markets," says Michael E. Fasci, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. Cary Parrish, President and Director of Sealant Solutions, Inc., has served as Chief Executive Officer and President, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, and Comptroller for various companies in the transportation and electronics industry. Mr. Parrish is a certified public accountant with a master's of business administration degree (MBA) accentuating business management systems. Mr. Parrish's career began as a comptroller with Arthur Anderson, one of the Big Six accounting firms in the United States. From 1981 to 1991, Mr. Parrish left Arthur Anderson to begin his entrepreneurial career in the truck stop and petroleum industry. As Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Mr. Parrish expanded the business from one location to four locations obtaining major contracts with Citgo and British Petroleum. In 1991, Mr. Parrish became Chief Executive Officer and President of Smalley Transportation, Inc. ("Smalley"). By 1998, Mr. Parrish augmented Smalley from $1M to over $40M in just eight years.
Harry W. Brooks, Retired Major General, brings over 29 years of military experience in the United States Army and over 25 years in the business community. General Brooks served in various command and staff positions in the United States, Japan, Korea, Germany, and Vietnam. He commanded the 2nd Battalion and 40th Artillery in Vietnam, the 72nd Field Artillery Group in Germany, Assistant Division Commander of the 2nd Infantry, Division in Korea and the famed 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii. His awards included the Distinguished Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, Two (2) Legion of Merit Medals, Two (2) Bronze Star Medals, and Seven (7) Air Medals. The Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea awarded General Brooks the Cross of Gallantry and Order of National Security Merit. After retiring from the U.S. Army, General Brooks served as an Executive Vice President of AMFAC, Inc. in Hawaii, and as Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Consumer Marketing, which generated $250 million dollars in revenues over a nine year period. In 1989, ACMC was designated Minority Business Enterprise of the year by the Department of Commerce. General Brooks currently serves as a trustee of the Freedom Forum and has served on the Boards of the International Diplomacy Council, the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce, and numerous other civic and business entities.
Ramiz Chamlati offers essential business experience in the paint and cosmetic industry. Mr. Chamlati has earned a doctorate degree in Cosmetology from the University of Mexico. Mr. Chamlati holds the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer of Cosmotex, the largest cosmetics company in Mexico. Mr. Chamlati started the business 5 years ago and has grown the business to over $3 million dollars a year with viable contracts with Coscos and Wal-Marts in Mexico. Also, Mr. Chamlati is the President and Director for Cosmoseal and Eipseal, one of Mexico's largest construction companies and suppliers of paints, construction supplies, and construction services. Mr. Chamlati serves as a Director on Kavir, a major import-export company. Mr. Chamlati and his wife provide civic services for the Mexican organization "Cultural Reform for the Beauty of Mexico." Mr. Chamlati has two children and speaks proficient Spanish and English.
Edward W. Fasci Jr. puts forward his 30 years of experience in consulting and contracting with governments and private industry. Mr. Fasci has been Chief Executive Officer, President, Vice President and Director for various companies in the electronics industry, computer industry and international consulting. As Director of operations for AMARTECH, Ltd., Mr. Fasci was responsible for growing the company into the largest Meteorological and Environmental contractor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As CEO and President of Technology World, Inc., Mr. Fasci was responsible for several large government contracts with the U.S. Navy, Royal Saudi Air Force, and the Government of Malaysia. Mr. Fasci has more than 30 years of experience in consulting and contracting with both governments and private industry.
