Elite and Productive Data Systems to Improve Material Tracking

FREEPORT, Texas--Sept. 17, 2001--Elite Logistics Inc. (OTCBB:ELOG), a leader in the fast-growing telematics and asset management industry, today announced a strategic alliance with Productive Data Systems Inc. (PDS) to provide PDS's material tracking system customers with tracking and status information that will produce bottom line savings through enhanced supply chain visibility and process improvements.
Elite and PDS have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that provides for the integration of Elite's PageTrack(R) telemetry systems with PDS's suite of inventory tracking and database management software. PageTrack's ability to gather and communicate cargo status and GPS-based location information to PDS's backend database systems will improve customer supply chain management, reduce errors and enhance achievement of customer expectations for on-time delivery and accuracy. Supply chain managers will be freed to better serve their organizations by focusing on savings and service improvement opportunities rather than the mundane and repetitive tasks of manually following up on material delivery status. Visibility into the supply chain will also allow customers to better manage their inventory levels.
"Our company takes pride in providing our clients innovative ideas to introduce new, more efficient ways of doing business," stated Michael J. Mitchell, regional vice president. "We are in the business of providing quality information to our clients that help them to increase revenues and decrease costs. By integrating our Web-based material tracking solutions with Elite's PageTrack(R) GPS tracking system, we will be able to directly affect our clients' bottom line by providing comprehensive inventory location and status information."
