Ceradyne Appoints Bruce Lockhart President of Ceradyne Thermo Materials
COSTA MESA, Calif.--Sept. 17, 2001--Ceradyne Inc. announced the appointment of Bruce R. Lockhart as president of its fused silica ceramics division, Thermo Materials, located in Scottdale, Georgia.Lockhart has more than 16 years of experience in industrial ceramics, including positions in R & D, marketing, manufacturing and operations management. He graduated in 1985 from Clemson University with a bachelor of science degree in ceramic engineering and earned an MBA degree in 1990, also from Clemson. Prior to accepting his position at Ceradyne, Lockhart spent the major part of his career in various engineering and management positions at Thermal Ceramics Inc., an industrial ceramics company based in Augusta, Georgia.
