Mark Hallsman Joins MotorVac
SANTA ANA, Calif.--Sept. 14, 2001--Mark J. Hallsman has joined MotorVac Technologies Inc. as their senior vice president of marketing and business development.MotorVac is a leading supplier of professional fluid system maintenance and diagnostic equipment. Utilizing proprietary technology, MotorVac manufactures a line of products sold to the automotive aftermarket industry.
Hallsman will be responsible for implementing an aggressive growth plan for the company, including the development of new products and markets within the company's core competencies and identifying acquisition candidates for external expansion.
MotorVac has won acclaim for its fuel cleaning systems, which reduce pollutants and control emissions, and its chemical detergents are non-carcinogenic and environmentally friendly. MotorVac products also provide many other value-added features that can enhance an automotive repair shop's revenue and profits, while increasing customer satisfaction.
Since 1993, Hallsman was sr. vice president at Irvine, Calif.-based PIA Merchandising Co. and continued with SPAR Group Inc., the Tarrytown, N.Y. company that acquired PIA in 1999. Previously, he held executive positions at Con-Way Western Express, Dolco Corp. and Eaton Corp. He and his wife Ashley, a CPA, reside in Newport Coast, Calif.
