TOLEDO, Ohio, Sept. 14 Dana Corporation is sponsoring the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Region IV leadership conference which begins today in Toledo, Ohio. "We are proud to help support the NSBE's important efforts to advance engineering education and stimulate interest in engineering careers among minority students." Dana Vice President of Technology Planning Chuck Jones will serve as keynote speaker at the three-day conference, which is expected to attract more than 200 NSBE chapter officers, advisors, and alumni. Mr. Jones' remarks will focus on the importance of innovation and creativity in the engineering profession. Founded in 1975 at Purdue University, the NSBE is the nation's largest student-managed organization with more than 14,000 members and alumni at some 300 colleges and universities nationwide. The group works to stimulate interest among minority engineering students in a variety of engineering and scientific disciplines.
