Dura Automotive Announces Extension of Exchange Offer
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.--Sept. 12, 2001-- Dura Automotive Systems, Inc. , today announced it has extended the deadline to exchange its debt securities until 5 p.m., EST, on Sept. 18, 2001. Dura Automotive commenced an exchange offer on Aug. 13, 2001, of its outstanding $300 million of Series B 9% Senior Subordinated Notes and $158.5 million of Series C 9% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2009, for new debt securities registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The exchange offer was originally scheduled to expire on Sept. 11, 2001 at 5 p.m., EST. At that point, $280.6 million in aggregate principal amount of the Series B Senior Subordinated Notes and $148.7 million in aggregate principal amount of the Series C Senior Subordinated Notes had been tendered for exchange.The Exchange Agent is U.S. Bank Trust National Association.
