September 12, 2001Matt Kenseth's thoughts on New Hampshire: There are mixed reviews in the garage area about the flat tracks. What are your thoughts?
"I really don't like flat tracks mainly because they don't favor stock cars and its really hard to pass on these tracks. I prefer the tracks with some banking so you can race side by side."
What is the key to qualifying well at New Hampshire?
"At a flat track like New Hampshire, your car has to turn well in the center of the corner. If your car pushes at all you can't run really fast. I've never qualified well at Loudon, but we are taking a car that we used last in Phoenix, and it qualified well. Basically at flat tracks you have to have a car that handles perfect."
Crew Chief Robbie Reiser's thoughts on New Hampshire:
"We are taking car No. 10 to Loudon. We originally were going to take the car we had at Richmond but that got wrecked. Car 10 ran at Phoenix and qualified 12th. It ran well during the race, but we were collected in a wreck."
Spotter Mike Calinoff’s thoughts on New Hampshire:
"Loudon is another one of the tracks where the spotters have great a vantage point. Since there are no motor homes in the infield, my view of the bottom of the turns is great. The DEWALT team has had some success there and we are looking forward to going back there again."
